His areas of expertise include company valuation, investment banking, mergers & acquisitions, privatisations and equity research. Mr. Mahmoud was most recently head of trading at FGFS, partially owned by First Gulf Bank. He began his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) where he worked as a privatization specialist for projects funded by international donor agencies (USAID, EC, CIDA, GTZ) for the sale of Egyptian public sector firms and joint venture companies. He then focused on GCC capital markets working with leading banks and investment houses in the UAE and Oman, including leading the the Investment Management Group of Oman Arab Bank in 2007 to achieve record growth of 10x prior year profits. Pej Danaee, DirectorMr. Danaee was the fouder of BVIG Capital and currently serves as a non-executive director of the firm. He has more than 15 years of international business experience in Australia, UK and US. His areas of expertise include cross-border transactions and value creation in private equity investments. Prior to BVIG Capital, he worked for a number of global companies including HSBC and KPMG. At HSBC, he was responsible for the IPO execution services business across Middle East where he managed a number of local IPOs including DFM and Gulf Navigation. He is an Associate of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments and a Chartered Marketer. He has a Bachelor of Economics (Honours) and a Masters in Commerce from University of Sydney and UNSW in Australia. He has more than 20 years of legal experience internationally, along with England and Wales. His areas of expertise include, offshore trusts, company, commercial, property, employment and taxation laws, project and corporate finance, restructuring, insolvency and litigation.
